Welcome to All Things Deblilah!!

 Hello out there!!!

Deblilah here.  Let me start by introducing myself. 

I am a very independent, free-spirited (some may say a little crazy) hippy chick who still isn't convinced that I am not really a fairy! I am completely dedicated to really LIVING the rest of my life.  I have had a multi-faceted, varied career (checkered past.)  If you can think of it, I may have been there and probably done that. Having traveled to 49 states in the United States, and many foreign countries, I can honestly say that I have seen some STUFF! (The clean version of my future epitaph)

As a woman of many years, a mother, and now a grandmother, I have been interested in taking better care of my skin for many years. I had been a photographer and doing makeup for many years but found that when I moved back to SC, I needed to have an esthetician license to have a business here.  

I decided to attend Beauty School, primarily for makeup but was amazed to find out so much about the human body and our largest organ (which is, of course, our skin.) I quickly fell in love with the entire profession of skincare.  I could see myself helping people to better understand, replenish, and maintain their skin for overall better health.  

I have been interested in natural and holistic healing for some time, and have been on quite the personal journey to live my life without pharmaceuticals, and unnecessary toxins.  For years I have been making, testing, trying out, and giving away natural products for multiple conditions and issues.  

I will use this forum to be able to discuss many different topics, such as natural skincare, aging skin, make-up, traditions or trends, how to know what your skin needs, beauty, and many more topics.
